The Midfield Magician
Enrico first played football at the age of 6 and surprisingly started as a goalkeeper. Moves to left back, left wing, striker and back to left wing soon followed in his early years.
Enrico continued playing football in the minor leagues in his region but decided to stop playing to focus on his career.
After leaving Italy for Poland, Forabosco saw a post on a Facebook group by Alex Băcica, attempting to recruit triallists for the team. Despite missing the deadline, Enrico messaged Alex personally and the rest is history!
He made his debut in the 2-1 victory over Pychowianka in the 2020/21 season and has become a key member of the Dragoons success so far. His first goal came in the next fixture against Rybitwy, a game in which the Expats triumphed 6-0. Wearing Scott Halcrow’s number 24 shirt, the midfielder saw a Michał Nowak long-throw find its way to him inside the penalty area. In acres of space, Forabosco simply passed the ball past the goalkeeper to score one of his simpler goals for the club thus far!
Since then, Enrico has established himself as an extremely important member of the Dragoons. The heartbeat of the midfield, Enrico assists, scores and is one of the first names on the team sheet.
Such is importance to the team, the midfield magician has won the Player’s Player and Player of the season awards in each season he has played for the club.
