The Indian Whirlwind
A mercurial talent, fleetfooted attacker Rohit played football on the streets of Dubai as a youngster.
He represented his school team, becoming captain, winning trophies and medals along the way. Rohit also played for community sides, but has only ever played at an amateur level.
Soon after moving to Kraków for his studies, Rohit found the Dragoons via Facebook. He messaged the club and came along for trials and impressed the coaches enough to sign on.
Rohit’s scored his first two goals for the club in the 6-1 victory away to Grom. It may come as a surprise to most, but Chandran scored his first goal with his head. The smallest player on the pitch, he leapt at the far post to nod home Robert Ambrosie’s cross. His second goal is more typical of what you’d expect, running onto a pass, cutting inside and sending a curling effort beyond the keeper on the edge of the box.
