About Jan
Jan holds the distinction of being the youngest player ever to represent Dragoons FC, establishing himself as a key squad member with an uncompromising, fearless approach to the game.
Jan developed his early game in the United States, competing in youth football before relocating back to Poland. Prior to the 2023/24 season, he joined the Dragoons for a trial period. His determination, work rate, and no-nonsense style immediately caught the eye of the coaching staff, earning him a place in the squad for the second half of the campaign.
Jan made club history during his debut against FC United in the Fenix Trophy, coming off the bench at half-time to become the Dragoons’ youngest-ever appearance maker. Patiently waiting for further first-team opportunities, he capped off his debut season by scoring his first goal for the Expats in a resounding 7-0 victory over Szreniawa Koszyce.
While initially arriving as a midfielder, Jan’s big break came during the 2025/26 season. Handed a specific man-marking assignment, he seized the opportunity with both hands. His defensive tenacity proved so effective that, despite playing out of his natural position, he went on to make the right-back berth completely his own.
Proving that age is just a number, Jan plays with zero fear. Whether he plays in midfield or locking down the right flank, he never shies away from a challenge and routinely gets stuck in to set the tone for his teammates.
