A proud Scotsman, Michael had been a regular face in the crowd on matchdays since moving to Kraków before making the first team squad.
Michael played junior football in Aberdeen for Kemnay FC and at amateur level for Kintore Amateurs. Following work and university commitments he put a hold on playing football, but will be has resurrected his career with Dragoons.
Following a trial match, the centre back impressed the coaches and joined the club midway through the 2021/22 season to further reinforce the squad in defence.
He made his long awaited debut in the 2022/23 season against Podgórze coming off of the bench to grab the Dragoons fourth goal in a 6-3 home victory. The big defender reacted quickest from a corner to plant not only the ball, but himself into the back of the net. A great moment for all involved!

Michael was so sure he’d make the grade as a professional footballer that he didn’t drink alcohol until he was 18! What’s more, when Michael played for AFC Blackburn in his home town of Aberdeen, his team received a big cheque that was actually meant for one time Premier League champions Blackburn Rovers…
