The Czech Winger
Martin is the only Czech national to have represented the Dragoons.
He is one of the youngest players in the side and started his career at academy level in the Czech Republic for Fortuna Liga side FC Hradec Králové. After leaving the club at 15, Martin continued his football career at regional level for Slavia Hradec Králové.
A pacy wide attacking player, Martin had played on Thursday’s in Dragoons affiliate training club before being handed a trial. He joined the club at the start of the 2021/22 season, adding a direct threat to the attacking play and always looking to break the lines of the opposition.
Martin came on as a late substitute against Victoria for his debut and assisted Yuri Samyonov for the fifth goal. The Czech had to wait until the 2022/23 season to notch his first goal, scoring twice in the Dragoons 5-1 demolition of Strzelcy.

As a junior footballer, Martin’s team won a national tournament including the biggest names in the Czech Republic. As a result, his team were rewarded with matches against the youth sides of Juventus and Ajax. It was an extremely memorable occasion for young Martin to run out against young players of two highly esteemed European sides and to memorably grab a draw against the Dutch side!
