Stiven Campo
Originally from Colombia, Stiven is the first Colombian to play for the Dragoons and has a long-standing passion for football, having played from a young age.
His early years saw him competing in the lower divisions of his city’s U15 team. However, an unfortunate foot fracture at the age of 15 brought his competitive journey to a halt. While he briefly returned to the game in his early twenties, playing as an amateur in his university’s internal tournaments, Stiven’s career took an unexpected turn when he moved to Poland.
In Kraków, his love for football was reignited. What started as casual games twice a week with the local Kraków Football Facebook group led to him encountering members of the Dragoons. Encouraged by the camaraderie and competition, Stiven’s “competitive gene” awakened, and he began pushing himself harder. This renewed determination culminated in his decision to try out for the Dragoons during their summer trials ahead of the 24/25 season, where he impressed the coaching staff who invited the Colombian to sign.
Stiven thrives in the midfield, where he finds his rhythm in creating play and setting up attacking opportunities for his teammates. Known for his vision on the field, he excels at delivering precise long passes and orchestrating assists to the forwards.
#FunFact Stiven has an unusual preference on the field—he prefers providing assists over scoring goals, believing that a well-executed assist is just as valuable as a goal itself.
