About David
David began playing football at an early age, mostly for local village sides. At 15, he joined US Lantriac, one of the leading teams in his region, and steadily progressed to the first team by the age of 18.
Reflecting on that period, David recalls that first-team football at a good level was a real challenge. He described the game then as far more physical than today, with intense exertion that taught him a lot about himself, teamwork, and how a group of average players can achieve greatness with strong squad spirit.
Later, David played for AS Laussonne before stepping away from football to start a family. After relocating from Paris to Lyon, he signed for MOS3R, a regional fourth-league club. Though the level was lower than what he was used to, he enjoyed the camaraderie and simply being back in the game.
Upon moving to Krakow, David sought a similar footballing project and contacted Alex Băcica directly. After a successful trial, he joined the Expats and made himself available when needed. He made his Dragoons debut in a 6-0 away victory against Universum in the 2019/20 season. His first goal for the club came shortly after, in a 6-1 win over Grom, entering as a substitute, he met an Enrico Forabosco corner with a header, sending the ball into the top corner with unstoppable precision.
Later, David stopped playing regularly and took on an advisory role with the coaching team, eventually becoming a vital advisor to the Dragoons’ board of directors, contributing his experience and insight off the pitch.
