About Serhii
Like many youngsters, Serhii started out playing football informally, kicking a ball around the local streets with friends as there was little to no access to formal training or clubs early on. It wasn’t until enrolling at university that he joined an organised team and later on finished as the team’s top scorer.
Serhii went on to play for a number of amateur clubs, where he enjoyed great success, winning the league title four times and finishing as top scorer on two occasions.
Since moving to Poland in 2019, he has featured across multiple levels of the amateur game. He spent half a season in the Okręgówka with Dziekanowice, followed by spells in Klasa B with Błyskawica Wyciąże, and several campaigns in Klasa A with Żarek Barwałd Górny.
After seeing a post on Facebook announcing that his favourite coach, Gonçalo Ferreira, would be joining Krakow Dragoons, he reached out, reconnected, and agreed to join the club.
The Ukrainian made his first start in the 2025/26 Puchar Polski and grabbed his first assist in just the 1st minute against Prądniczanka II in a 4-1 victory. He added the fourth goal in the 90th minute to round of a solid debut. Remarkably, in his next appearance, Serhii grabbed a memorable hat-trick in the 2nd round of the cup against Kolejarz-Prokocim II.
