About Edo

Edoardo has been kicking a football since he was four! The Italian began his junior career with U.P. Costa, before spending 11 years at San Michele Salsa in his hometown of Vittorio Veneto. Edo jokes that he played every position at San Michele — except in goal!

Due to his studies, Edo paused playing for a while, but after a year at university in Padova, he joined local side Patavium in the lower leagues of Italian football.

While on Erasmus in Budapest, Hungary, Edo played for Budapest Celtic, earning a place in the club’s hall of fame. After returning to Italy to complete his studies, he joined Cantine Riunite before eventually moving to Krakow.

The tough-tackling defender discovered the Dragoons on Facebook in 2018 and featured in the Expats’ first-ever competitive fixture, a 6-0 Puchar Polski victory over Fairant, making him an OG Dragoon!

Edo scored his first Dragoons goal in the 6-0 win over Universum during the 2019/20 season. The full-back played a sublime one-two with Bumba Jnr before striking an unstoppable drive from 18 metres into the top corner.

After deciding to step away from playing, he helped support the coaching staff, using his professional scouting experience to help prepare the team and analyse matches.
