About Cedrick
Cedrick is a huge fan favourite of the Dragoons fans.
Mwamba hails from the Democratic Republic of Congo and played football as a youngster. Whether it be the streets or finding a field, Cedrick and his friends would play football. His first taste of 11-a-side came with his secondary school IT Mutoshi.
With 10 football fields, Cedrick and his friends had ample opportunity to play all the time. In his third year, he joined the school football team and also played for local side FC Morlon. Due to a lack of sponsorship, the club could not resume at a high level and Cedrick shortly left.
Cedrick dreamed of playing football professionally, however educational and a life away from football prevailed.
Following his move to Kraków, Cedrick found the club on social media. He soon joined and debuted against Grom in the 2020/21 season, becoming an instant cult hero. Upon coming off the bench, he almost made an immediate impact. The forward took one touch, before launching a shot that cannoned off the post. Later in the game, he did his best Hong Kong Phooey impression, poleaxing the poor Grom goalkeeper and escaping with just a yellow card.
A speedy attacker, he grabbed his first Dragoons goal against Bieżanowianka, acrobatically volleying Filippo de Felice’s knockdown.
