About Alonso
Another South American joins our ranks. This time the first Peruvian national! Alonso began his football journey at the age of six with Universitario de Deportes, one of the most historic clubs in Lima, Peru. He progressed through the youth system all the way to the under-18 level before choosing to shift his focus towards his studies. Despite stepping away from the professional track, he continued to play in a variety of competitive amateur leagues across Lima.
Originally a striker, the Peruvian later transitioned to the wing and now plays primarily in midfield. His preferred position is the number 10 role, where he thrives on intelligent team play, movement, and keeping things simple and effective.
Alonso saw a post on social media originally and contacted the Dragoons and was invited to training at the back end of the 2024/25 season. After showcasing his talents, the Expats signed him up and he made his debut in the 2025/26 Puchar Polski second round, coming off the bench and netting a debut goal in the last minute against Kolejarz-Prokocim II.
