After another challenging season, the Dragoons returned to the lake at Kryspinów for the annual Player of the Season awards.

The weather wasn’t kind as heavy rain poured throughout the day – but true to form, the Dragoons’ spirits never dipped. With plenty of laughs, the squad gathered to celebrate another year together as the hard work of pre-season begins once again.

As always, the coaching staff nominated their picks for the Most Improved Player and Player of the Season, while the squad cast their votes for the Players’ Player of the Season ahead of the event.

We are proud to share the results of this year’s awards ceremony below.

Szymon Urzędowski 🇵🇱

Most Improved Player

Congratulations to Szymon Urzędowski, who was voted the Most Improved Player of the season.

Szymon’s dedication and determination on the training pitch have been clear for all to see. Over the course of the campaign, he worked tirelessly on his game and grew in confidence, earning his place as a reliable option within the squad.

Kama Sutra — The Polish Utilityman played 26 times scoring twice and assisting four goals!

Whether stepping in defensively or supporting in midfield, Szymon consistently gave everything for the team. His improvement has been a testament to hard work, patience, and commitment.

A well-deserved recognition for a true team player!

Rohit Chandran 🇮🇳

Players’ Player of the Season

To be recognised by your teammates is always a special honour. This season, the squad chose Rohit Chandran as the Players’ Player of the Season.

Double Winner — Rohit made 21 appearances contributing three goals and six assists through the season

Rohit’s presence, technical ability, and work rate have been invaluable. Whether pressing hard in midfield or driving the team forward with his trademark forward runs, he has been at the heart of everything positive for the Dragoons this year.

His consistency, growing leadership by example, and humble approach made him a popular and deserving winner of the award.

Rohit Chandran 🇮🇳

Dragoons Player of the Season

Rohit didn’t stop there – he also claimed the Player of the Season award, as chosen by the coaching staff, bringing an end to club legend Enrico Forabosco’s incredible run.

Runner Up — Enrico Forabosco finished in 2nd place in the players’ vote after winning multiple times in previous years!

This double honour reflects just how influential Rohit has been throughout the campaign. Tireless, composed, and ever-reliable, he has been a driving force for the Dragoons in what was at times a tough season.

The Indian whirlwind has proven himself as one of the side’s most important players and will no doubt continue to be a key figure in the season ahead.
