About Renato
Renato is the man with a cannon of a right foot, a talent the Dragoons never got to see in competitive action due to injury. He has been a part of the friendship group behind the clubs’ ascent into the league pyramid and was one of the founder members.
Despite not playing an official game, he has been invaluable behind the scenes. As the majority sponsor of the club, part-time cameraman, and often the voice behind the lens in the early days, Renato has helped shape the Dragoons into the club it is today. He also previously served as club treasurer and continues to play a massive role in day-to-day operations due to his role as majority sponsor!
Off the pitch, Renato is a creative force. Known as Mekong in the New Wave music scene, he brings the same passion to his artistry as he does to supporting the Dragoons.
From finances to filming, from sponsorship to soundbites, Renato’s impact on the club goes far beyond football – truly a cornerstone of the Dragoons family.
