Dragoons Player of the Month: April
The four nominees for April’s Player of the Month: Enrico Forabosco, Rohit Chandran, Josh Dawson and Martin Voženílek

It’s that time again to vote for your Dragoons player of the month!

April saw the Dragoons season restart after the winter break. The side started well, winning their first two games 6-0 against Bronowicki and 7-1 against Opatkowianka

After the no show of Victoria mid-month, the MZPN awarded the Expats a further 3 points. Sadly, the incredible winning streak ended with a 2-1 reverse against Pychowianka and the final game of April ended with a lacklustre draw against Kolejarz/Prokocim II.

Your nominees for April’s Player of the Month competition are as follows:

Enrico Forabosco 🇮🇹

The midfield magician started all four games and as ever made a huge contribution to the team. Enrico created four goals (nine for the season) overtaking Flavio Nkola as top assister and also added one goal, taking his goalscoring tall to seven thus far this season. The Italian put in some stellar displays to keep the team ticking this month.

Rohit Chandran 🇮🇳

The mercurial wideman started every game in April and made an immediate impact to the side. Chandran came into the restart in scintillating form, grabbing a brilliant hat-trick against Bronowicki. The Indian found the goal once again in the victory over Opatkowianka, and over the course of the month had two goals ruled out for offside! The forward now has five goals so far this season.

Josh Dawson 🏴󠁧󠁢󠁥󠁮󠁧󠁿

The pulchritudinous defender played every minute in the Dragoons four games in April. Dawson proved to be a thorn in the side of our opponents from set-pieces and scored an incredible hat-trick against Opatkowianka, taking the versatile Englishman’s tally to 5 goals for the season. At the back, Dawson played at both centre back and full back proving his value to the side.

Martin Voženílek 🇨🇿

The Czech winger made two appearances from off the bench for the Expats this month. Voženílek could not help the Dragoons in the defeat to Pychowianka, but made a big impact against Kolejarz/Prokocim II. The attacker’s direct running and pace injected a different dimension to the side and he provided his third assist of the season for Adrian Paliś’ goal.
