2022 Summer Update
The 2021/22 season will live long in the memory of everyone connected with the Dragoons. The Expats had competed for two seasons in B Klasa and struggled to find themselves at the top of the podium.
For the third season, Ashvin Asani and his coaching staff prepared the squad meticulously. This culminated in a blistering start that lead to an incredible winning run.
After clinching the B Klasa 2021/2022 title, the Dragoons squad was given some team bonding time over the summer.
First up came the annual trip to the capital of Poland, Warsaw. The majority of the squad and staff travelled for a fun-filled weekend. The time away featured the annual fixture against AFC Warszawa, who emerged from what used to be FC Foreigntina.
Like the Dragoons, AFC are a multinational team of Expats and recently followed in the Expats footsteps after being accepted to compete in Klasa B Warszawa III in the Mazowieckie Voivodeship.
With the Wojtek the Bear trophy on the line, the Dragoons had to come from behind to win 6-3 and collect yet more silverware. The Dragoons toiled for sixty minutes before their superior fitness came to the fore. Hat-tricks by Błażej Święcicki and Adrian Paliś sealed the victory, as the Expats maintained their winning streak over the Varsovians.
Player of the Year Awards
The following weekend saw another annual fixture in the Dragoons calendar with the lakeside BBQ at Kryspinów.
Another fun and steak fuelled day courtesy of coach Diego Villanueva, saw the Players Player of the Year and Coaches Player of the Year announced.
It was an extremely successful season for our club. An amazing 14 game winning run put the Expats in a great position to win the league. Despite a mid season stumble, the Dragoons recovered to memorably claim B Klasa title on the last day of the season. We hope there will be more to come.
It was no surprise to see the mercurial Italian Enrico Forabosco taking a clean sweep of the trophies. The Midfield Magician played 19 matches in total contributing 10 goals and 13 assists and was the overwhelming victor in both categories.
Congratulations once again Enri – a well deserved accolade.
Adrian Paliś top scored for a third season in a row, winning the top scorer award. The Polish talisman trumped his previous total of 18 goals in the 20/21, hitting the net 24 times in 21/22. Paliś surpassed the 50-goal mark during the season and is the Dragoons all-time leading scorer with 59 goals.

A New Home!
We have even more news to bring you! We are moving home. With the success of last season, our club is moving in a bright direction.
From day one, the Dragoons have played home matches at the home of KS Nadwiślan at ul. Kolotek 20. However, this is all set to change in the 22/23 season, as we will be groundsharing with Prądniczanka Kraków.
Despite losing the beautiful view of Wawel Castle, the Expats will be welcomed with a brand new playing surface, modern facilities and a covered stand, with the ability to hold 1800 people at their new home. This will give players, staff and of course the fans a much better matchday experience.
Our new home is located at ul. świętego Andrzeja Boboli 5, 31-408 Kraków and we hope to see you there very soon!
A Klasa 2022/23
Following our promotion last term, we have learned the teams we will be facing in the forthcoming season. We find ourselves in Group III Kraków with some familiar opponents in the mix.
Joining us in Group III are Rybitwy, who finished as runners up behind the Dragoons last season. RKS Iskra Krzęcin, Bieżanowianka Kraków and TS Tramwaj Kraków we’ve previously faced in the Puchar Polski and also played the reserves teams of the latter two last season.
The draw for the first round of the 2022/23 Puchar Polski has been announced. We will be matching up against Rafis Kraków on 6th August at 18:00 in Gminny Stadion Sportowy Zabierzów.
How You Can Help Us!
As we grow as a club and get better and better on the pitch, we want to bring you even superior content on matchdays. We have done our best to share our matchday experience with everyone at home, but we want to give you more. We have tried bringing you highlight packages and weekly match reports, but how about watching games live?
The Dragoons have been exploring our options on how to bring you live matchday footage of our games. Sadly, the technology required to do this falls outside our seasonal budget. This is where your help is required!
We have set up a fundraising campaign to try and raise funds in order to purchase brand new recording equipment to bring you high quality live coverage of matches, as well as giving us the opportunity to film other football related content.
Any help you can provide to us will go a long way!
