Battaglion the Battler
Full-back Edoardo has been kicking a football since he was four years old! The Italian started his junior career with U.P. Costa, before spending 11 years at San Michele Salsa in his hometown of Vittorio Veneto. Edo says he managed to play every position with San Michele except in goal!
Due to his studies, Edo put a halt on playing for a while but after a year of University in Padova, he joined local side Patavium in the lower leagues of Italian football.
Whilst on Erasmus in Budapest, Hungary, Edo joined Expat side Budapest Celtic becoming a hall of fame member!
After returning to Italy to complete his studies, Edo joined a local side Cantine Riunite, before leaving for Kraków.
The tough tackling defender first found the Dragoons on Facebook in 2018 and played in the Expats first ever competitive fixture in the 6-0 Puchar Polski victory of Fairant.
Edo scored his first goal Dragoons goal in the 6-0 victory over Universum in the 2019/20 season. The full-back played a glorious one two with Bumba Jnr before hitting an unstoppable drive past the goalkeeper from 18 metres.
When not playing for the Dragoons, Edo can usually be found scouting or conducting video analysis for the team.

Edo is in the process of becoming a professional scout, but his real dream is to coach Curacao and take them to the World Cup, as well as having a border collie breeding farm and opening an Irish Pub. All in Curacao, of course.
