Danilo adds to our Italian contingent at the club. He began his footballing journey at the age of 6 and developed his skills through the youth academy of US Alessandria Calcio 1912, a historic club that has competed across Italy’s top leagues: Serie A, B, and C. After his time with Alessandria, Danilo played for several local teams in the province of Alessandria.
In his twenties, Danilo’s playing career faced a setback due to injuries, including a knee ligament injury and a fractured clavicle. After a long recovery period, he’s back on the field, this time in Poland. He discovered Dragoons FC through a colleague who had connections to one of the team’s players.
Danilo likens his playing style to that of Andrea Pirlo—focusing on simplicity and effectiveness, ensuring control and vision in the heart of the game.
#FunFact: At the age of 10, Danilo was invited for a trial by Juventus. Despite passing the trial, circumstances didn’t allow him to join the prestigious club due to the distance and his young age.
