Nominees

We bring you five choices to vote on this month with your nominees being:

Francesco Leuci 🇮🇹

A consistent team member, Fra made 4 out of 5 appearances during May. The Italian showed his versatility playing on the right wing and both at left and right back. Leuci picked up the Man of the Match award in the defeat against Galicja Raciborowice. Playing out on the right flank, Francesco was full of running and a thorn in the side of our opponents.

The defender scored his 2nd goal of the season this month in the 11-2 hammering of Bratniak. So far this season, Francesco has played 17 times and has been a valuable squad member.

Yuri Samyonov 🇮🇱

The Israeli managed 3 appearances in total during May and rediscovered his goalscoring touch by netting 3 times to take his total to five for the season. Yuri has been in excellent form of late and also contributed 3 assists. Yuri is currently the Dragoons’ highest assister this season with 8, one more than Enrico Forabosco! The forward won his Man of the Match award for his performance against Bratniak.

Yuri came off the bench to score twice and create 3 goals and also played a big part in the Expats’ recent fine form.

Roman Bilovol 🇦🇷

The Argentinian youngster has been a consistent fixture in the side this season. Roman appeared five times this past month, making one appearance off the substitutes bench. The right-back has shown a great appetite to learn and has improved as the season has worn on.

3rd in the appearance list this season, Roman has played 22 times and has scored once. He won his Man of the Match award in the defeat against Wanda, putting on a typically aggressive display.

Corneille Malonga 🇨🇩

The Congolese national has been a revelation since returning to the squad after injury. Corny made 3 appearances in May, once coming off the bench. The midfielder seems to be in two places at times and is often snapping at the heels of opponents.

A typically tenacious performance saw Malonga win his Man of the Match award Prądniczanka II. A concerted effort went into improving the Dragoons’ shape in and out of possession. Corneille has played a huge part in the Expats’ recent resurgence and possibly a late contender for Player of the Season!

Enrico Forabosco 🇫🇮🇮🇹

It would not be Player of the Month competition without our resident nominee. The midfield magician has often been the Dragoons’ hero this season and is once again nominated for a fine month.

A dominating performance saw Enrico awarded the Man of the Match against Victoria Smroków. The Finn-Italian scored two quite exquisite goals and created a goal for Fuhaš. Enrico scored six times in four appearances in May, picking up one assist.

The Dragoons’ very own Benjamin Button, Forabosco has been a pillar of consistency and has already surpassed his record tally of goals in a season (13in 20 games).
