End of Season Awards Ceremony
The team recently celebrated the end of the 2020/2021 season with the annual End of Season awards ceremony.
Club President Alex Băcica organised the squad to meet at one of the local lakes at Kryspinów and once again the whole team, staff and friends had lots of fun.
Coach Diego Villanueva oversaw a fantastic barbecue and lots of tasty meat provided by Sokołów.
There was four awards presented on the day and the winners are as followed:
Adrian Paliś 🇵🇱
Top Scorer
Adrian Paliś ended the season with 18 goals and also jointly topped the creativity chart with 7 assists. As a matter of fact, Paliś had a great scoring record close to one goal per game average. He carries an all-time scoring of 37 goals in 32 matches with the Dragoons colours.
Mark Szczesnowicz 🇦🇺
Player’s Player of the Season
Popular Aussie midfielder Mark Szczesnowicz won the Player’s Player of the season with some excellent displays. Mark was given the captains armband at the restart of the season and did not disappoint. He showed great leadership and lead the way when it came to ball-winning in the centre of the park.
Yuri Samyonov 🇮🇱
Most Improved Player of the Season
The Dragoons Israeli forward won vote by the coaching staff as the Dragoons most improved player. Samyonov came into own with some excellent wing-play and in addition capped off an impressive season with 5 goals.
Enrico Forabosco 🇮🇹
Staff Player of the Season
The Dragoons Midfield Magician won the award for the coaching staff’s player of the season. The Italian maestro put in some excellent performances and scored a memorable goal against run away league winners Wieczysta II. Equally, Forabosco finished joint top of the assist charts with 7 goals coming directly from his wand of a left foot.
