Player of the Season Awards
The Dragoons players, staff and their families celebrated the end of season awards ceremony at the lake at Kryspinów.
A BBQ with plenty of beverages, saw the Dragoons celebrate a good end of the season with an excellent turnout. Unlike last year, the weather was excellent and a great time was had by all.
As per usual, awards went to the Player of the Season, Player’s Player of the Season and the Most Improved Player. Additionally, there was an award for the top assister and top goal scorer of the season.
The results of the awards ceremony are as followed:
Roman Bilovol 🇦🇷
Most Improved Player
Congratulations go to Roman, who joined the club at the beginning of the last season. The teenager grew into the right back position as the season went on.
The tough tackling Argentine, took on the information from the coaches and played a key part in the Dragoons’ form towards the end of the season.
The full-back played 24 times in his maiden season and scored his one and only goal in the 3-1 win over Juvenia Prandocin.
Enrico Forabosco 🇫🇮🇮🇹
Player’s Player of the Season
In an absolute landslide result, it was little surprise to see the midfield magician run away with the votes once again. For a fourth consecutive season, Forabosco won the acclaim of his fellow player’s to pick up the Player’s Player of the season.
Honourable mentions go to 2nd placed Francesco Leuci and 3rd placed Corneille Malonga.
Enrico Forabosco 🇫🇮🇮🇹
Dragoons Player of the Season
It was a tough season for the Expats who had many highs and lows throughout the campaign. However, one major high was performances of the evergreen Italian. Forabosco has won the Player of the Season in each of his four seasons with the Dragoons showing just how important he is to the team.
The midfield maverick scored his best tally of goals in a season (13) and grabbed eight vital assists. Enrico made 22 appearances over the course of the season and deserves all the plaudits for the award.
Enrico Forabosco 🇫🇮🇮🇹
Top Goalscorer of the Season
With 13 goals, Enrico scored six more times than his closest rival Vałdzis Fuhaš. The pick of the bunch has to be the Dragoons’ fourth goal in the 7-3 victory over Victoria Smroków. The midfield magician pulled off an outrageous Cruyff turn, before lashing an effort in the top corner with his right foot. We all thought that was for standing on…
Yuri Samyonov 🇮🇱
Top Assister of the Season
The Israeli played a key part in the Dragoons’ end of season form, leading the line excellently. The unselfish attacker claimed 8 assists over the course of the season from 21 appearances. Despite being tied with Forabosco, Samyonov played less games to be crowned the Expats’ top assister.
Congratulations to all our award winners!
