Corneille Malonga 🇨🇩
The first of three extremely strong candidates for the player of the month award. Corneille started twice and came off the bench once during June. The midfielder continued his excellent form during the month and won Man of the Match against Płomień Kościelec.
Following his recovery from a long term injury, Corny played a huge part in the Expats end of season form. The midfield heel snapper, does not give opponents time on the ball with an excellent ability to win possession for the side.
In total, the Congolese made 16 appearances for the Expats and created one goal.
Rob Smits 🇳🇱
The Dutchmeester missed the game against Płomień Kościelec, but started against Szreniawa and Czarni. A superb performance against Szreniawa saw Rob score twice and create three goals to rightfully earn the man of the match award.
When Rob plays, you know exactly what you will get, with the midfield metronome moving the ball around quickly and always making himself available to receive a pass.
Despite having only appeared 13 times this season, Rob contributed 6 goals and 7 assists to the team. He also capped off the season with a 50th club appearance in the final game against Czarni.
Enrico Forabosco 🇫🇮🇮🇹
Another month and another nomination for the midfield magician. The Dragoons midfielder never seems to age, but constantly keeps the team ticking with his calmness in possession. There is not enough superlatives out there to describe just how important the Italian is to the team!
Enrico started all three games during June, picking up the man of the match in the final game against Czarni, with two assists.
This season saw Forabosco score 13 goals to break his previous tally of 11 and assist on 8 occasions in 22 appearances.
